As a pedestrian, what are you doing to help cars see you and your children at night? From back to school time, to Halloween trick-or-treating, to daylight savings time, fall is the season to think about being seen. We teach our kids all about safe pedestrian behaviors, like looking both ways and putting our phones down as we cross the street, but we should also be talking about what we wear. Have them wear light- or brightly-colored clothing and reflective gear, and carry a flashlight if needed. Visit the Safe Kids Worldwide pedestrian safety tips page for additional tips and links to fun videos and infographics.
